THE AUSTRALIAN DEBATING FEDERATION

The Australian Debating Federation (ADF) is the peak body for schools debating in Australia. It administers the national adjudicator accreditation process, oversees the National Schools' Debating Championships, manages the Australian Schools' Debating Team, co-ordinates federal government funding for debating throughout Australia and provides a forum for affiliates to share resources and ideas.

The SADA is the sole South Australian affiliate of the ADF, in recognition of the quality of service that we provide. ADF affiliation allows the SADA to engage with the best coaches, debaters, adjudicators and administrators Australia-wide. The SADA has been a strong and influential contributer to the development of debating throughout Australia, having had representatives on the ADF Executive in a variety of capacities, including the Presidency. ADF affiliation ensures that the SADA can continue to provide programs of the highest standard.
