STATE TEAM TRIALS
Trials for the 2026 South Australian state debating team are now open and we encourage debating students in year 9 and above, to sign up and attend.
Being a part of the state team is an incredible opportunity to enhance your debating skills and be a part of a unique and fun experience with a team of like minded individuals.
The benefits of trialling extend much further -
it is an excellent opportunity for your own development as a debater.
The trialling process involves participation in one or multiple debates with peers, as well as a seminar delivered by the coaches of the state team.
It cannot be understated how valuable it is for students and for teams to attend these trials.
ABOUT US
The SADA is South Australia’s leading debating association, providing coaching, adjudicators and education services to people of all ages and abilities. The SADA co-ordinates the State’s largest, longest running schools competition, its' only adults debating competition and the State Debating Team. The patron of the SADA is the Honourable Chris Kourakis, Chief Justice of South Australia.
